About Our Fees and Expenses
About Our Fees
As a private professional service, our fees are not covered by MSI and payment will be expected following each visit.
Our hourly fee is $135.
Employee Assistance Plans or private health insurance may cover part of our fees. Clients should check with their
health insurance or employment benefit plan to see if full or partial reimbursement is a possibility.
Clients will be expected to cover that portion of the cost not covered by their plan.
- VISA, Mastercard, American Express and debit card payments are accepted.
- Billing on a monthly basis and contracts for services can be arranged under some circumstances.
- Treatment focussed phone calls will be billed at a rate of $25 per call.
- We will bill requests for file information or reports to you or to the requesting body.
- We will bill you for an unkept appointment if it is not cancelled with 48 hours notice.
About Our Expenses
The largest portion of our income covers the costs of our clinical and support staff:
- salaries and wages
- taxes
- travel expenses
- educational workshops
- liability insurance
- professional memberships
- professional journals
There are other business costs as well:
- rent
- municipal taxes
- insurance
- office supplies, postage
- furniture
- psychological tests
- computers, printers, fax equipment, software
- stationery, printing
- phone
- legal fees
- accounting fees.
We Give Back
A proportion of our practice is always allocated to subsidizing services to low income families.
We do volunteer work in the community.
We also make donations to charitable community organizations.
